The Barr & Stroud Sierra 8x42 is a rubber armoured roof prism binocular featuring fully multicoated optics and phase corrected BAK4 prisms. Twist type eyecups, nitrogen gas filled waterproof. Specification: Field of view 129m, close focus 2m, eye relief 17.5mm, weight 673g. Complete with carry case, lanyard, rain guard and tethered objective lens caps. 10 year guarantee. H135mm x W125mm.
 
The Barr & Stroud Sierra 8x42 is an excellent high quality starter binocular delivering very bright, sharp and clear images with a wide field of view. Focus is smooth and accurate and the binoculars feel lightweight in the hand. Great for all general purpose uses and including bird watching, nature and all outdoors. Highy recommended
